Electronic Components & Materials (EC&M) has its focus on science, technology, and application of electronic components and materials, with broad coverage of original research works, new R & D achievements, advanced technologies, applications and market information, etc., Subjects covered in these areas include:

Up to Jun. 6, 2004, EC&M has gone through 23 years with 148 issues (23 Volumes) published. In 2002, EC&M changed from a bimonthly to a monthly. In the past 23 years, more than 2350 papers were released. According to Chinese Academic Journal Comprehensive Citation Annual Report (2003), the Impact Factor of EC&M is 0.3141. EC&M is accepted by the database of IEE Inspec UK, the database of CA USA Colby Information Center & S&T USA, Analysis & Statistics Of Chinese S&T. Journals China, Chinese Scientific Citation Database, Chinese Scientific Measurement Database China and Chinese Science Abstracts et al.
